Seated at the edge of a pool, one foot in the water, she is drying the other; at right, two large trees; background of hilly and wooded landscape; in the center of the plate at top, the date 1860 in a shield. Additional line in landscape between left edge and first tree of background. The dry-point has been strengthened in several places, and reduced in others.
