Samuel May Jr. (Writer) writes to Samuel J. May (Recipient) about the upcoming meeting in Syracuse. William Lloyd Garrison, Lucy Stone, and [Mr. Fass?] will attend, and William Wells Brown and Charles Lenox Remon probably will be there as well. Writer says he heard of “the remarkable spiritual communication” Recipient has been receiving, and says Theodore Parker “is afraid that [its] effect on [Recipient's] mind is so strong that [Recipient] will do some rash thing.” Writer ends the letter talking about the health of family members.
