A drab olive green pea whistle attached to the survival vest (2014.243.34.1) owned by Charles F. Bolden. The whistle has a small cork ball inside and is attached to the vest with a lenths of white cordage strung through an attachment at the back. The cord attaches to the top of a pocket on the PL side of the survival vest.
