S.L. Little writes to Maria Weston Chapman in regards to completing her other poems "the birth resurrection and Ascension of Jesus" and having no means of paying for publication, she inquires after any Boston publisher who might undertake it for half or entire pay in books. She asks Maria if she could ask "some printer on what terms he would execute the work" and to show him a copy of her book.
