Sacred Heart Church and School, in the Churchill neighborhood. The foundation for the church was laid in 1876 and Sacred Heart parish was established in 1878. By 1881, the lower portion of the church was complete. The cornerstone for the school was laid in 1886. The steeple of the church, missing in this image, was built in 1897.
