Black and white copy-photograph of unknown date showing the birthplace home of Adelbert Temple, a shoemaker from the Woodville section of Hopkinton. It appears that the house has been disused or abandoned for some time. It is a small single-story wooden house with weathered, faded siding, an unstable foundation and stone front step. Windows are broken with misaligned frames, a toppling utility pole or tree being used to hold a bare clothesline. Some tools and a wagon are laying to the side of the image. Verso refers to the Hopkinton Historical Commission.
