Thomas Wentworth Higginson writes to Theodore Parker in regards to [Franklin Benjamin] Sanborn writing him "of a certain H.F." who wishes to see the proceedings of "our veteran friend." He is reluctant to give up the project "for if we give it up now at the command or threat of H.F. it will be the same next year." He writes, "When the thing is once started, who cares what he says?"
