In this letter, H.W. Blanchard describing his efforts for Edmund Quincy to "obtain a hall if I could in this village to hold a Sunday meeting." Blanchard says that no hall could be found in Port Norfolk village or Neponset village for a meeting "for love or (a reasonable amount of) money." He asks the recipient to inform Edmund Quincy or Samuel May this news. In the postscript, Blanchard adds that this letter "laid in the post office more than a week and that is [the] reason I did not write sooner."
