Samuel Joseph May writes to William Lloyd Garrison saying that he is rejoicing "to be assured that we may expect you to lecture here on the evening of Friday the 9th inst." May states that no arrangements could be made to lecture in Rochester during Garrison's visit, but he will try to schedule him to speak in Oneida or Oswego instead.
