Isaac Winslow writes to William Lloyd Garrison in answer to his circular, assuring him "that you would find some friends to assist you ... in your vocation." He tells Garrison that his brother, Nathan Winslow, "has distributed some of your thoughts and made some converts." Winslow also sends him his "order on the Bank of the US at one days sight for $500" and tells Garrison to forward his note "when convenient."
